I've been blessed to be able to explore many cities all over the world, but oddly enough, the west coast somehow remained untouched. No doubt, Coachella was my cue to finally knock California off the list.
From BWI to LAX, and with very little knowledge of The Golden State, I decided to settle down in a Santa Monica hostel & let the memories make themselves. I gathered a few ideas of things I hoped to do within two days of meeting up with my college mate, and took the city by storm. After a few minor "fraud" setbacks with my credit card company, I managed to hop on a Honda CBR250 and catch some dope views of the coastline.
Two days into the trip, my college mate, George and I hit the I-10 and started our Coachella adventure. I managed to smuggle my drone in and captured some exclusive, ariel shots, during the festival. Over the next 4 days, we drank, laughed, exchanged culture, and danced to the music of our hearts. The beach, the weather, the coast line, the music, and the first hand camping experience was more than I could have asked for. We gained friends from cities abroad; we made memories. Before we knew it, the trip had come to an end. We were exhausted, but at the end of the day, it was all worth it.
